This lovely EAPG cake stand is the 'Atlas" pattern, also referred to as Cannonball, Crystal Ball and Bullet. It was made by the Bryce Bros. Glass Company, Pittsburg, PA, circa 1889. It as designed by Henry J. Smith at Bruce Bros. The standard and center of the plate is decorated with an embossed geometric design, while the outer rim of the plate holds crystal clear spheres almost the size of marbles. The cake stand measures 10" across, 9 1/4" in height and 4 1/2" across the base. It will hold a cake up to 8 1/2" in diameter. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Ready for your next birthday party or other special event.
