Blue Ridge dinnerware was produced by Southern Potteries of Erwin, Tennessee, from the late 1930's until 1956 in twelve basic styles and two thousand different patterns, all of which were hand decorated under the glaze. This maple leaf cake tray is the "Verna" pattern composed of shaded pink colored double rose flowers, blue forget-me-knot, pink lily-of-the-valley and yellow tulip, accented by multi-colored leaves, blue dots and dashes border and a bunch of blue grapes in high relief by the arched handle.
