Hand painted porcelain expresses the emotional connection between the artist and subject. This lovely dresser/vanity set shows the artist's passion and understanding of beautiful floral arrangements and presentation. Executed in a small home-studio environment, circa 1913, by Alice Basedow. I have other lovely pieces executed buy this artist in my store. They are painted on Bavaria white-ware blanks, circa early 1900's.
