This lovely round covered dresser/jewelry box, circa 1900, is covered with hand painted wild rose blossoms in soft shaded white-to-pink and completely white, nestled among shaded green foliage concealing unopened buds. against the white porcelain blank. The rim of the lid and rim and base of the bottom is decorated with a band of brushed gold.
The box measures 6" across and 3" in height. Marked in green on the base "T&V - France" which designates the Tressemann & Vogt, mark used from 1892-1907. It is artist signed on the base 'H.A. Dodge'. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint condition. A lovely size and motif covered box for dresser or vanity.
