Dominick & Haff Company was founded by H. Blauchard Dominick and Elroy B. Haff in 1872. In 1880 the company acquired the dies of Adams & Shaw which previously had obtained the dies of John R. Wendt Company. In 1928 the firm was purchased by Reed & Barton.
This lovely sterling silver 2-piece salad set is the Queen Anne - Plain pattern, circa 1910. It has a wonderfully detailed cut decoration on both the spoon and fork and simple two-groove edging on the handles. Both pieces measure 7 7/8" in length, have a combined weight of 4.61 ounces and no monograms. Stamped "Sterling" with the Dominick & Haff logo and "Pat-D-10". These serving pieces could easily be interchanged and used for many other service purposes. Wonderful vintage condition with no cracks or dents. Great maker and wonderful pattern.
