This gorgeous Dresden Lace figurine, circa 1950's, portrays a lovely Victorian lady attired in a medium length gown composed of layer-upon-layer of delicate strawberry pink lace and applied pink rose blossoms with a puffy white lace sleeves, neckline and trim on her shirt. Her gracious facial features are framed by her rich brown hair, which shows from under her large white summer bonnet with floral adornments. Her out-stretched arms and hands are very expressionistic. The figurine measures 7" in height and carries a dark blue Crown mark and "Dresden Germany". I could not identify the maker as there were so many companies of the era. Good vintage condition with five or six breaks in the pink folds of the skirt, mostly on the back-side of the piece, which is common on lace figurines. Beautiful as well as graceful figure.
