Hand painted china is so beautiful no matter if executed in a factory decorating department, professional studio or home studio environment. The quality of the finished product is what really counts.
The beautiful hand painted painted cabinet plate was executed on an unmarked blank by 'M. W. Poole',a well-known Midwest, home-studio, porcelain decorator from Moline, Illinois, circa 1910. The motif is lush ripe blackberries and snow white blossoms with yellow stamens nestled among shaded leaves in variegated shades of green, yellow and brown. The muted background is a combination of pastel blue, apricot, yellow and pink. The embossed, scalloped edge is trimmed with gold. The plate measures 7 3/4" across and is signed by the artist on the back. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely plate by great artist.
