Each flower petal, leaf and stem is delicately outlined and highlighted with gold. The background is a soft tan to medium brown with sponged gold over-tones. The arched handle, tri-fold top and raised base is decorated with either solid gold or gold bands and edging. The ewer measures 10 1/2" in height and 4 1/2" across. The red printed trade-mark is a castle, 'Old Hall ' and '1790'; there are also printed numbers '3 over 3900'. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint condition. A beautiful and scarce piece.
