Royal Doulton has been producing porcelain ceramics and dinnerware for approximately 200 years. From a meager beginning in 1815, John Doulton, amassed one of the largest pottery and porcelain factories this world has ever known.
This lovely Royal Doulton figurine entitled "Rosebud" was produced from 1945-1952. Designed by Leslie Harradine, it portrays an elegant lady attired in a long pink dress, adorned with delicate pastel green bows; deep rose robe and pastel/medium green hat. On her right forearm she is wearing an arrangement of delicate yellow roses, while her left hand is holding a small basket filled with more yellow rose blossoms with green foliage.
The figurine stands 7 1/4" in height. Stamped in green with the Royal Doulton logo, "Bone China - Rosebud - RdNo 839023 - Copr 1945 - Doulton & Co. Limited". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. This is a fabulous Royal Doulton figurine
