Royal Doulton has been producing porcelain ceramics and dinnerware for approximately 200 years. From a meager beginning in 1815, John Doulton, amassed one of the largest pottery and porcelain factories this world has ever known.
This lovely Royal Doulton figurine entitled "Autumn Breezes" was produced from 1955-1971. Designed by Leslie Harradine, it portrays an elegant lady attired in a long white dress and bonnet along with a black jacket,. She is holding an ermine fur muff with her right hand while supporting her bonnet with her left hand to keep it from blowing off due to the brisk breeze.
The figurine stands 7 1/4" in height. Stamped in green with the Royal Doulton logo, "Bone China" and "Autumn Breeze". The "HN 2147" and decorators initials "A.C." are hand written. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. This is a wonderful Royal Doulton figurine
