The Fostoria Glass Company was built in 1887 at Fostoria, Ohio, but by 1891 had moved to Moundsville, West Virginia, where it remained until operations ceased in 1986. By the late 1930's, Fostoria was recognized as the largest producer of handmade glassware in the world.

This elegant set of 3 etched crystal champagne/tall sherbets is the "Chintz" etched pattern #338 using the classic stem #6026. The pattern motif is an all-over delicate etched floral and leaf deign. The classic stem is composed of faceted spheres and tapered columns. This lovely pattern was produced from 1940-1973. The champagne/tall sherbet measures 5 1/2" in height and 3 3/4"" across the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. I will include an additional sherbet with a small rim flake that can be smoothed by a glass grinder or perhaps local jeweler.
