This is a darling capodimonte figurine, circa early 1940's, of a barefoot peasant girl dressed in dark blue shirt, white blouse and apron, burgundy vest and reddish-orange head scarf. Her facial expression is lovely with rosy complexion, red lips, blue eyes and long, brown curls spilling out from under her scarf. She stand slightly bent with her hands clasp behind her back.
The figurine measures 5" in height and is stamped in blue with a five-point crown over "N" as well as "Capodimonte - Germany" and "PMR" within the Star of David. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely piece.
