Royal Doulton has been producing porcelain ceramics and dinnerware for approximately 200 years. From a meager beginning in 1815, John Doulton, amassed one of the largest pottery and porcelain factories this world has ever known.
This lovely Royal Doulton figurine entitled "Christmas Morn" was produced from 1947-1996. Designed by M Davies, it portrays a lovely lady attired in a long red winter dress and jacket trimmed with white fur. She is holding a white fur muff with her left hand, shielding her face from the cold wind and perhaps controlling the stylish soft green bonnet with purple ribbon and bow she is wearing.
The figurine stands 7 1/4" in height. Stamped in green with the Royal Doulton logo, "Bone China", "Christmas Morn", "HN 1992" and decorators insignia "24". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. This is a wonderful Royal Doulton figurine
