Hand painted porcelain is so beautiful if created in a large professional studio, factory decorating department or home studio environment.
This lovely porcelain stein is beautifully decorated with a huge bunch of shaded ripe, red currants nestled among lush variegated green, brown, teal and cream foliage, against a background blend of pale yellow, which continues around the body of the stein. Around the rim, down the handle and into the base it is a brownish-red that gradually changes to a rich, deep brown. The stein measures 5 5/8" in height, 4 1/2" across the base and 3 1/2" across the top. The porcelain blank is stamped "B P CO over F O", circa 1900, and is initialed "F.M.B. and dated 1901" by the decorating artist. There are no cracks, chip, repairs' a tiny paint flake on the base. If you appreciate hand-painted porcelain or collect steins this is a must
