Hand painted china is so beautiful no matter if executed in a factory decorating department, professional studio or home studio environment. The quality of the finished product is what really counts.

This lovely pair of hand painted plates were expertly decorated in a home-studio environment. The pair were executed by different artists who unfortunately did not sign the items. The one displays shaded red currants hanging from variegated green and blue/gray leaf covered vines. The border is a pastel peach with hints of pale blue toward the center of the plate. It measures 6 1/4" across and is stamped "Silesia" The second displays shaded red/orange currents suspended from a twisted brown vine covered with variegated green leaves. The background is a blend of brownish-red, medium green, pale blue, pastel yellow and apricot. It measures 6" across and is stamped "M Z Austria". Both plates have a gold gilted edge There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Very decorative with great colors.
