A.H.Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio, first introduced the "Orchid" etched pattern in 1940 and it continued in production until the Heisey Company closed in 1957. During this time the "Orchid" pattern became Heisey's most popular etching. This wonderful serving bowl (2 available) is etched on Heisey Blank $1519 known as Waverly. Unmarked, the flared serving bowl is 11" across at the top and is 4" in depth. There are no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs, but one of the bowls does have several spots of minor, no harm, roughness along the rim. A beautiful and graceful pattern for all ages.
