Albert Weiss, who gained experience by working at Coro, founded the Weiss Company in 1942. Albert designed the jewelry and much was produced in his own factory. The factory ceased operations in 1971.
This dramatic Weiss leaf-shaped brooch will add variety and color to your jewelry collection. The open-work, leaf findings is completely enameled in black and covered in round rhinestones in pastel shades of pink, blue green and clear. The brooch measures 2 1/4" in width and 2 1/2" in length and has a safety clasp mechanism. The piece is stamped "Weiss" with the copyright symbol on the stem of the leaf; rather faint because of the heavy enameling. Near mint condition.
