An excellent example of Mexican craftsmanship with a western flair. This wonderful embossed, horse-shoe link bracelet consists of three links with a bezel mounted, oval onyx cabochon positioned at the open end of the horse-shoe; the addition four links, two at each end, each hold a silver sphere. The bracelet measures 7 1/8" in length and 5/8" in width and has a box with tongue clasp. The piece is marked on the clasp. The condition is near mint with nice original patina.
Circa 1979 a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and sterling standard was introduced in Mexico. The first letter indicates the city/area location "T". The second letter is the first initial of the last name of the silversmith (S). The last number(s) indicates that he is the 10th silversmith with a last name beginning with that letter to register at the city assay office
