Laguna is the registered trademark of Royal Craftsmen Inc. founded in New York City in 1944 by Louis and Lillian Detkin. The company manufactured simulated pearl jewelry, beaded jewelry and faceted crystal beads until the closed in 1980.
This lovely necklace, circa 1950-1960, consists of two strands of round faceted cut crystal beads separated by disc-shaped cut crystals. The connecting bars are adorned with four diamond rhinestones. Made popular for weddings, crystals are a great accessory for any color outfit or occasion. The individual strands measure 11 1/2 and 13" inches in length with a 3" beaded extender. The hook clasp is stamped "Laguna". Nice vintage condition with no damages.
