This is a lovely gold-tone and faux pink sapphire brooch, circa 1950's-1960's. The brooch contains seven oval, faceted, faux pink sapphires, each representing a floral blossom and each on an individual gold-tone sculptured wire stem. Each crystal is prong-set in an open-back mounting for maximum light diffusion. The floral stems are secured by a decorative gold-tone bow. The brooch measures 4 3/8" in length, 2 1/2" in width and has a safety clasp mechanism. It is unmarked as to maker. Great vintage condition with no condition issues.
