According to Alice Hulett Metz, author of "Early American Pattern Glass", this pattern, Paneled Herringbone was a rather heavy, non-flint, product of the 1890's. It was made in clear, emerald green and some milk white; the emerald green being the most popular with todays collectors. This wonderful pitcher stands 9 1/2" tall and has no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. A find for a collector of this pattern or anyone who appreciates fine early American pattern glass items.
