These lovely plates, circa 1891 - 1900, depicts an outdoor oriental scene in the center of the plate, surrounded by six alternating panels of oriental scenes and floral on the wide border. The shape is gently scalloped with no trim. These plates measure 8 3/4" across. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; a few light utensil marks. Stamped with a reissued older mark "Ridgways - Oriental - England"; this beehive and garden urn stamp originated with William Ridgway in 1830.
