This lovely sterling silver brooch, circa 1940's, is composed of three arched wire stems, each holding a fully open rose blossom. Separately attached is a leaf and smaller rose blossom. The piece measures 3 3/4" in length, 2 1/4" in width and has a safety clasp mechanism. Beautiful craftsmanship equal to any of the fine jewelry companies of the era. The brooch is unmarked as to the maker, but is stamped "Sterling" within in a rectangular cartouche much the same as Hobe. Excellent condition with original aged patina.
