The Regency Novelty Company, New York City, owned by the Polowitz family, produced Regency jewelry from the 1950's through the 1970's. Regency jewelry is beautifully designed and manufactured with excellent materials. Many designs resemble higher-end Weiss designs.
This lovely Regency brooch features gold-tone findings. The outer edge consists of small pale pink enameled leaves with the center of combination of pale pink, pastel pink and pink shaded aurora borealis round and marquise rhinestones and four tear-drop faux pearls. All the rhinestones are prong-set, while the pearls are secured with petal-like cups. The piece measures 2" X 2" with a safety clasp mechanism. Marked "Regency Jewels" with a copyright symbol on an oval cartouche. Near mint condition with loads of sparkle and soft subtle appearance.
