Albert Weiss, who gained experience by working at Coro, founded the Weiss Company in 1942. Albert designed the jewelry and much was produced in his own factory. The factory ceased operations in 1971.
This lovely wreath-shaped brooch, circa 1950's, is decorated with several size round and marquise prong-set diamond rhinestones. The brooch measures 1 3/4" across and has a safety clasp mechanism. Marked "Weiss" in an oval cartouche. Near mint condition with lots of sparkle.
