Founded in 1794 in Tettau, Bavaria, the Royal Bayreuth firm is well known for it's superior quality porcelain items.
This wonderful pair of ladies oxford-laced shoes, circa 1890-1910, are a medium tan color with black stitching across the toes, around the laces and up the back of the shoe. They both have their original light brown laces; though very worn it is rare to find them on figurals of this era. The shoes measure 5" in length, 1 3/4" in width and 2 1/2" in height. The shoes are not stamped with the Royal Bayreuth logo, but both are stamped with a stylized 'B' on the front of each heel. There are no cracks, chips or repairs on either shoe. Lovely item.
