Czechoslovakia produced many types of colored art glass during the early part of the twentieth century.
This beautiful spatter glass basket, circa 1918-1937, is no exception. Composed of vivid shades of red-orange, lemon yellow and olive green, encased in clear glass, the round vertically ribbed base flows gently in to the square ruffled top. The clear glass thorn handle is twisted to form a open loop at the top. The basket measures 4" across and 6 1/2" in height. The base still has the original foil label "Made In Czecho-Slovakia". There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Beautiful piece.
