While the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire Ohio, was first organized in 1901 by a group of local investors, it wasn't until January 1904, that the first glass was made, and not until almost five years later that the beautiful iridized glass known as carnival was created.
This very colorful water set is the "Imperial Grape" pattern and was designed to compete with Northwood's Grape and Cable pattern. The pitcher measures 8" in height, 8" from spout-to-handle and 3" across the base; the tumblers are 4" in height and 3" across the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
