A lovely EAPG pattern was produced by the Chicago Glass Company, circa 1880's. The pattern is called "Basketweave" and was made in non-flint in a range of colors, amber, apple green, blue, canary, clear and vaseline. This round tray, in amber, has a central rustic design consisting of mountains, trees, fence, cabin with lady standing in the doorway and pioneer man with his trusted dog resting on the grass. Around the raised edge is the basketweave design. The tray measures 12" across and 1 3/8" in depth. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some minor production roughness along the inside edge of the tray.
