The Pope-Gosser China Company was founded in 1903 in Coshocton, Ohio, by Bentley Pope and Charles Gosser. The company closed in 1958.
This nice grouping of three pieces is the Pop28 pattern, circa 1915, plain white with gold trimmed edges, bands, decorative handles and finials. The oval platter measures 12 1/2" in length and 9 1/4" across; the pair of oval covered vegetable bowls measure 5" in height, 12" from handle-to-handle and 7" across. Stamped in green "Pope Gosser China". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; minor gold wear. Great items for mix-and-match or when extras are needed.
