The Henry Alcock & Co., Elder Pottery, Cobridge, Staffordshire Potteries, England was operating from 1861 - 1910.
This lovely set of 6 luncheon plates, circa 1891 - 1900, is the Elite pattern. It is a beautiful soft green transfer of arches, scrolls, garlands of floral and geometric designs, with gold trim and highlights and scalloped border. The stamped mark is "Elite - Semi-Porcelain - Henry Alcock & Co. - England - Rd No 267185". The registry number indicates the year 1895. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some minor gold wear. An extra plate with slightly faded transfer will be included.
