The range of wares produced by the Doulton Company since its inception in 1815 has been vast and varied. First located in Lambeth, England, and later expanding to Burslem, England, in 1882.
This wonderful set of bouillon cups and saucers is the "Old Leeds Spray" pattern, which was produced over the years of 1912-1956. The motif consists of ribbon tied bouquets, groups and singles of multi-variety and multi-colored spring flowers against an off-white background with dark green edges and design on handles. The cup and saucer are both eight sided in shape. Marked on the base ""Old Leeds Spray - Royal Doulton - D3540 - Rd No 597738 - England". The registry number indicates the year 1912 as the first year manufactured. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; edges may show minor wear; light overall crazing. Nice set.
