Two lovely period Staffordshire transfer-ware pieces. A sauce dish in medium blue depicts a formal garden with people as the central motif with floral and foliage border. The other piece is either a sauce dish or more likely the saucer for a handle-less cup in mulberry shading depicts a formal garden, people and buildings with floral and scenic cartouches decorating the border.

Both pieces are unmarked as to pattern or maker. The blue sauce measures 5" across and the mulberry sauce or saucer measures 6" across. Both items are free of cracks, chips, stains or repairs. Great small pieces.
