Ridgways Flow Blue Pitcher "Chiswick" Pattern - 6" Tall
Ridgways, Bedford Works, Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire Potteries, was in existence from 1879 - 1920. It was formerly Ridgway, Sparks & Ridgway, and after 1920 continued as Ridgways (Bedford Works) Ltd.
This lovely flow blue pitcher is the "Chiswick" Pattern, first introduced in 1897. At delicate floral motif and gold scroll accents. The pitcher measures 6" in height, 6" from spout-to-handle and 3 3/4" across the base. It is stamped with a Crown over a circular mark "Ridgways - England - Royal Semi Porcelain" over "Chiswick - Rd No 295284"; this mark was used from 1905-1920. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely Ridgways pattern. Have another smaller size pitcher of this pattern in my store.
