The Florence Ceramics Company was founded by Florence Ward in 1940's and produced some of America's finest semi-porcelain figurines during the late 40's - early 60's. This lovely figure is "Delia", outfitted in Godey fashions of the late nineteenth century. She stands 7 3/4" tall and is attired in a flowing gray dress, with burgundy trim, buttons and hat which ties with a large bow. She carries a textured fur muff with gilt accents. Beautiful blond hair, brown eyes and ruby lips compliment her facial features. The base is stamped mark #2, "Pasadena California Copyright Florence Ceramics" as well as incised "Delia". There are no cracks, chips or repairs on this lovely figurine
