The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by brothers Frank L and John W Fenton. Over the years the company produced pattern, custard, colored and satin glass items to name a few examples.
This lovely rose bowl, pattern #7424, is called Rose Burmese, the first hand painted decoration called 'Roses' by Fenton and was introduced in 1971. This rose bowl was made only from 1971-1972. It measures 3 1/2" in height and 4" across. Marked on the base with the in mold Fenton logo in an oval and "Hand Painted by N (Nancy) Gribble. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely piece of Fenton Burmese.
