Hand painted porcelain is beautiful no matter if executed in a factory decorating department, professional studio or in a home studio environment. The end result is what really matters.
This lovely hand painted porcelain serving bowl, circa 1910, is decorated with a huge branch of snowy white tea roses with delicate shaded green leaves and several yellow/brown spent blossoms. The muted background shades from dark to medium to light green to white. The gently scalloped edge is gold gilt. The bowl which is unmarked as to maker, measures 9 3/4" across and 2 3/8" in depth. The base is artist signed and dated "C.E.H. 1910". There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Lovely piece.
