A toothbrush holder in the Cornelian pattern made by the Roseville Company in the Early 1900's. "The Collectors Encyopedia of Roseville Pottery" by Sharon and Bob Huxford - Second Series - describes Cornelian as "glossy spongeware in shades of yellow and brown, accented with random areas of gold spray." This item is pictured on page 38 of their book. There are no cracks, chips, nicks or repairs. There is the usual age related, underglaze crazing. The holder stands 5" tall and is unmarked by maker.
