The Tiffin Glass Company was founded in 1889 by A.J. Beatty in Tiffin, Ohio. Tiffin glass was billed as "America's Prestige Crystal" and was advertised as being "within reach of the limited budget". At one time the output of Tiffin was double that of A.H. Heisey and Cambridge. Production ceased in 1983.
This lovely round crimped serving bowl is the "June Night" pattern blank #5902 with beaded decoration, circa 1941-1966. The motif consists of panels and cartouches of etched floral and lace design. The pattern has many characteristics of the "Cherokee Rose" pattern and will work together to create a beautiful table setting. The serving bowl measures 12" across and 4 3/4" in depth. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Other items in this pattern are in my store.
