The Tiffin Glass Company was founded in 1889 by A.J. Beatty in Tiffin, Ohio. Tiffin glass was billed as "America's Prestige Crystal" and was advertised as being "within reach of the limited budget". At one time the output of Tiffin was double that of A.H. Heisey and Cambridge. Production ceased in 1983.
This lovely set of liquor cocktail glasses is the "June Night" pattern #17392, circa 1941-1966. The motif consists of panels and cartouches of etched floral and lace design. The graceful ribbed stem is decorated with bands of beads. The pattern has many characteristics of the "Cherokee Rose" pattern and will work together to create a beautiful table setting. The liquor cocktails stand 5 1/2" in height and measure 3" across and hold 3 1/2 ounces. There are three sets of 6 available for sale. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Other items in this pattern are in my store.
