This beautiful hand painted cabinet plate is ablaze with a multi-colored pansy floral motif. The center of the plate consists of pansy flowers and opening buds in pastel shades of pink, crimson, purple and yellow nestled among shaded green foliage. The background is a blend of very light shades of cream, pink and blue. The eight-sided plate, which measures 8 1/4" across, has an embossed outer rim edged in gold. Stamped in green with a crown and double-shield mark "Vienna Austria" which was used by four different New York importers, circa 1890-1908. The plate is not artist signed. There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
