In 1918 the Czechs and Slovaks became united. They were freed from the rule of Austria and Hungary and the land in which they lived is now called Czechoslovakia.
This lovely collar/choker style necklace, circa 1940's, is composed of three rows of individually prong mounded diamond rhinestones on a slightly expandable linkage giving it a very comfortable fit and flowing appearance. The quality of the almost 200 rhinestones is excellent and the sparkle unbelievable. The necklace measures 15" in length and 5/8" in width. Set in silver-tone metal with a secure box clasp. The back mounting of some sets and the clasp shows age-related wear. The clasp is stamped "Czecho - Slovakia". You will enjoy wearing and receiving admiring glances with this necklace.
