A wonderful vintage figural "Lamb" statue, composed of solid chalk or plaster. It is rather heavy and so I will lean towards plaster as chalk is usually lighter in weight. Remember the darling Lamb Chop sock puppet created by the late Shari Lewis in 1957; this little fellow brings back special memories.
The figure, circa 1920-1930, stands 8 1/4" in height and 5 1/2" in length. The cocked head with black eyes and nose is accented by a red ribbon with bow around her neck. The extremely detailed curly wool coat makes the complete package. It could be a carnival piece, but probably a stand-a-lone figurine. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. So cute.
