Founded in 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld, Ltd. In 1885, the company was sold to Frantz Schmidt. The factory's main concern was commercial production, although it also produced some high quality items.
This gracefully proportioned vase, circa 1900, rest on four feet, has decorative gold brushed handles and nicely flared top. The front and back panels are framed with gold trimmed scrolls against a soft pastel pink background. The front is adorned with hand painted floral in shades of purple and green foliage. The back has an attractive single floral and leaves. The vase measures 9" in height, 4 1/2" across and 2 3/4" in depth. The pale blue stamp "Victoria Carlsbad Austria" was used from 1891 - 1918. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Nice.
