The Wincraft line of Roseville pottery was introduced in the beginning of 1948. The line was credited to he company president of that era, Robert Windisch. In fact he suggested and even inspired some of the designs. Free flowing Art Deco shapes were embossed with flowers or animals on bright high gloss colors of azure blue, chartreuse and apricot with a darker shade around the bottom. Over 50 styles were created for the Wincraft line.
The lovely vase is a sleek Art Deco design of lupine leaves around the base with several long slender stems of white lupine flower buds flowing upward toward the top of the vase. Two different shaped buttresses form handles on either side. The color is apricot body with blue-brown mottled combination around the base. It measures 6 1/4" in height and 4" across the base. Marked "Roseville - U.S.A. - 281-6". There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
