The Cambridge Glass Company was organized in 1901, with Arthur J Bennett as factory manager. In 1927 Mr Bennett was granted patent number 1,645,577 protecting all the figural images cast as an integral part of the flower holding block.
This lovely figural flower frog form was named "Draped Lady". A very popular form that was produced from the mid-1930's until the mid-1950's in a variety of colors, both clear and satin, and came in three sizes. This wonderful camphor glass figural measures 8 1/2" in height and 4" across the base. The round base contains ten individual holes. The inside of the base is embossed "Pat No 1645577". Nice sharp mold with no cracks, chips or repairs.
