Celebrating 25 years of Antiquing Bliss
Kosta Boda Crystal "Olivia" Line Bowl Designed by Anna Ehrner - image 1 of 8

The Swedish glass-works of Kosta was founded in 1742. The name was created from the surnames of the founders, Generals Koskull and Stael Von Holstein. Today's Kosta Boda was formed through a merger of Kosta, Boda and Afors.

This beautiful, deeply ribbed, five-pointed star crystal bowl was designed by Anna Ehrner who was associated with the firm from 1974-1979. The bowl is part of the "Olivia" line of crystal pieces. Anna was an experimental stylist who created great objects of art distinguished by simple, yet powerful forms. The bowl measures 6 7/8" across, 4 1/2" in height, 7/16" in thickness and weighs over five pounds. It is signed "Kosta - 58028 - Ehrner". There are no cracks, chips, scratches or repairs. Simply beautiful.
