This fantastic scenic plate has it all. The entire center consists of a placid lake surrounded by grasses and trees with mountains in the background. The main focus directs your attention toward two white swans peacefully gilding over the quiet water. The sunset scene is aglow in soft pastel shades of brown, green, lavender and yellow. The wide border of the plate is enhanced with heavy, raised gold decorations of dots, scrolls, leaves, bell-like floral and more. The plate measures 10" across and 10 3/4" across the cut-in handles. The mark #52 in blue is a small maple leaf and "Nippon - Hand Painted". There are no cracks, chips repairs, or decoration damage. A super find.
