From the late 1800's until the mid-1960's, the Jewel Tea Company was popular with the homemaker. In 1911, as a marketing tool, Haviland & Co. manufactured a pattern called The Autumn Leaf, which was sold through the Jewel Tea Company. Other variations of this pattern were made, but were not sold by Jewel Tea.
This nice oval serving platter, is the original Jewel Tea pattern, Schleiger #60, decorated with leaves ablaze in fall colors. The platter measures 11 3/4" in length and 8 1/2" in width.
