The Watt Pottery Company, Crooksville, Ohio, was incorporated in 1922 and remained in operation until a fire in 1965. In the late 1940's the company concentrated on kitchen-ware and in 1949 began hand decorating their items.
This impressive size #17 pitcher is decorated in the Starflower pattern, circa 1950's. The pitcher has a 5 pint capacity. It measures 8" in height, 9" from spout-to-handle and 4" across the base. Marked "17 U.S.A." on the base. The condition is good with no cracks, chips or repairs; there are some glaze flakes along the rim, spout and base area (see photos). The photos exaggerate the problem. Nice pitcher in a great size.
